The Heron Roost view rooms have satellite TV and DVD players. The three waterfront cabins have smart TVs and DVD players. All units are equipped with UV-C air filters. The Heron Roost has an outdoor deck and a shared kitchen. Evening & early morning beach access for the View Units is via public access, a short walk down the road. The Heron Roost building with the four view units is across Beach Drive from our cabins. All three waterfront cabins have 2-burner stove tops in the kitchenettes, fire rings outside for small campfires, and private beach access. One waterfront cabin is fully Accessible.

Over the years we've improved our phone systems so that now our in-house guests have constant access to us when they are here. We sleep with the in-house guest phone by the bed, so we're available 24 hours a day to our guests. We do leave pre-paid cell phones for all our International guests to use (in addition to any guests who are not traveling with a cell phone, or those who have troubles with theirs), so there shouldn't be any incurred costs to call us to check in, or if you need something. We're quite often on the property all day, but guests are off seeing the sites or are snuggled in their cabins, and are not even aware of our being around. we are truly a Ma & Pa operation, especially that time of year, so it's impossible to always be around waiting for guests to arrive. As for no one seeing us for days, we can assure you, we're always around, if not on the property, then very nearby, if not both of us, usually always one of us - and in the extremely rare case of neither of us being around, there is still someone watching over things. We'd have to agree that a visit to Alaska in October is apt to have a more abandoned feel than a visit during the summer months.
